Meet Elaine
Welcome to EJ Swimmers NE, led by Elaine Johnson, a highly experienced swim instructor with over 30 years of expertise. Elaine holds a Level 2 Swim England qualification, Amateur Swimming Association credentials, and an NVQ Level 2 in Swimming. She also has a Level 2 understanding of autism and ADHD, ensuring a supportive environment for all learners. Elaine's passion lies in teaching children the life-saving skill of swimming, and she is dedicated to passing on her extensive knowledge to swimmers of all ages and abilities. Join us to learn, grow, and excel in swimming with a seasoned professional.

All swimming lessons take place on a Sunday during term time between 1-3pm at Benfield Sports Center NE6 4NU
Children's Swimming Lessons
At EJ Swimmers NE, we offer inclusive swimming lessons for children aged 3 to 15 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our programs cater to all abilities, including children with autism, blindness, and ADHD, from beginners to improvers.
Our experienced instructors, led by Elaine Johnson, provide personalized instruction in small groups of six or fewer to ensure each child progresses at their own pace in a supportive and fun environment. Instructors are in the water with the children, offering hands-on guidance and encouragement.
We are dedicated to helping every child learn the essential life-saving skill of swimming while boosting their confidence and enjoyment in the water. Join us at EJ Swimmers NE, where every child is welcomed and supported to reach their full potential.
Adult Swimming Lessons - Coming Soon
We are excited to announce that adult swimming lessons will be starting this autumn at EJ Swimmers NE. Did you know that 3 out of 5 adults cannot swim? Now is your chance to learn this essential life skill in a supportive and friendly environment.

If they need reassurance It is wonderful to see how well she reads them and knows how to calm them and get the best out of them. As well as technique there are life saving skills too. My two never want to leave!
